STEPHEN RATTY, O.D.
Dr. Stephen Ratty graduated from San Diego State University with his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology in 1978. He received his Bachelor of Science in Visual Science and Optometric Doctorate from Pacific University of Oregon in 1982.
Dr. Ratty was employed in Bakersfield for 12 years before opening his own private practice at his current location in downtown Bakersfield in 1994. Dr. Ratty is certified in Glaucoma treatment. He is also a member of the American Optometric Association, California Optometric Association, and the Kern County Optometric Society.
He has volunteered his services to aid under privileged by traveling with a medical team on many mission trips to Africa, Central and South America.
Dr. Ratty enjoys scuba diving, golfing with his colleague, and traveling with family.
